Student Pastor~Rob Collins

Robert was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas.  He attended Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas and completed his undergraduate degree with a focus in Biblical Studies and Biblical Languages in May 2005.  He graduated from Gardner-Webb University’s  M. Christopher White School of Divinity in North Carolina on December 15th of 2008 with his Master’s Degree in Biblical Studies.

Robert believes that God is at work among the world.  He believes that God loves all of creation and seeks relationship with everything that God has made.  Robert has a calling upon his life to teach, prepare, strengthen, and encourage students with the truth of the gospel of grace.  Robert strives to create a worshipful enviornment that all students can feel safe and welcome in.

Middle School Coordinators~Robin and Stephanie Wright

Robin grew up in the small town of White House, TN just outside of Nashville. Stephanie is originally from Chattanooga. They each attended Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville where they met at a Fellowship of Christian Athletes function. Robin studied Industrial Technology and Stephanie majored in Nursing. They married a week after graduation and moved to Huntsville, AL where Robin accepted a job in 1998.

Currently, Robin works full-time at a local manufacturing facility, and Stephanie works part-time as the nurse for United Cerebral Palsy which helps families of children with special needs.

Robin and Stephanie have a heart for youth. They feel it is a calling on their lives to teach, minister, and serve teenagers and their families.

Worship Leader~Jason Leggett

Jason grew up here in Huntsville, Alabama, and graduated from Auburn University (War Eagle!) with a degree in Civil Engineering.  He moved back to Huntsville in 2003, where he works as a civil engineer (nerd).  Jason and his wife, Christina, came to Locust Grove in 2005.  

In 2006, Jason began working with the Youth Praise Band and leading worship at the Wednesday night youth worship services.  The band has had many face lifts over the past few years, but the mission has remained the same: to provide a passionate, Spirit-filled, worship experience which glorifies God and draws us all closer to God.  Jason is a goofy, fun loving guy with a passion for worship who believes God is truly awesome and worthy of all praise.
